Antique c. 1910 A.G. Harley Jones "Royal Vienna" Hand-Painted Vase – Winter Deer & Bird Vignette

A magnificent piece of early 20th-century English art pottery. This large, double-sided cabinet vase was manufactured by A.G. Harley Jones at the Royal Vienna Art Pottery works in Fenton, Staffordshire, dating precisely between 1907 and 1915.

The vase features a striking, flattened globe body resting on a tiered pedestal base, culminating in an elegant, gold-rimmed ruffled trumpet neck. The body is meticulously hand-painted with two distinct nature scenes set against a luminous, sun-faded lemon-yellow background:

The underside is fully marked with the hand-painted factory shape and pattern codes (908 / 2 / A 709). A high-impact statement ornament perfect for a country house interior, fireplace mantel, or fine Edwardian porcelain collection.

Condition: Excellent antique condition. The hand-painted pigments remain incredibly vibrant, and the yellow ground glaze has a beautiful, glassy sheen. The gilding shows only the slightest, completely normal  surface rubbing. Free from chips, cracks, structural repairs, or heavy crazing.
