Royal Albert Fine Bone China Tea Trio

Vintage 1950s Royal Albert Fine Bone China Tea Trio, circa 1950s, in the highly collectible "Sweet Romance" series, this is a discontinued and increasingly rare pattern.  In perfect condition this trio consists of a teacup, saucer and side plate. Molded in Royal Albert's classic Gainsborough shape,  the set is finished with an elegant scalloped edge and hand-painted 22 karat gold gilding along the rims, foot and handle.

The underside features the authentic 1950s green Royal Albert crown backstamp with "ENGLAND" in a curved format (pre dating the 1960s "Made in England" revision), alongside the pattern name "Sweet Romance" stamped in pink script.

This set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairline fractures or glaze crazing.
