Manufactured in Newell, West Virginia by the Homer Laughlin China Company, this heavy earthenware jug features their signature deep navy "Cobalt Blue" vitrified high-gloss glaze.

Originally designed by Frederick Hurten Rhead in the 1930s, the disc pitcher remains one of the most celebrated and globally collected silhouettes in commercial ceramics history.  The unglazed footing recess on the underside features a crisp, in-the-mold authenticity backstamp complete with the factory "H" hallmark. 

Condition: Excellent condition, the high-gloss glaze remains pristine with zero fogging or water staining. Completely free of cracks, structural repairs, chips along the delicate pouring lip or handle loops.
