Vintage Westmoreland Milk Glass Hen On Nest Covered Dish with Red Comb (c. 1950s-70s).

A classic piece of mid-century Americana kitchenware: an authentic white milk glass "Hen on a Nest" lidded candy/trinket dish manufactured by the renowned Westmoreland Glass Company.  The top lid features a highly textured figural hen detailed with its original hand-painted red comb and vibrant red eyes.  The matching bottom base features a clean, vertically ribbed body with a delicate trim running along the rim.  A wonderful statement piece for farmhouse kitchens, cottagecore vanity tablescapes or glassware collectors.

Authenticity: Features the genuine, embossed interlocking "WG" Westmoreland factory maker's mark clearly visible on the underside of the sunburst base.

Condition:  In Immaculate vintage condition with crisp & defined mold lines, no chips or cracks.
