This stunning Murano Art Glass fish figurine was handblown in Italy during the 1960s/1970s. This heavy high quality piece is in flawless condition features a dynamic leaping fish balancing on a beautifully ruffled "wave" base.

It showcases incredible craftmanship, combining the class Sommerso technique (beautifully layered cobalt blue & amber glass) with a Bullicante effect (perfectly controlled rows of tiny bubbles trapped inside the body). It catches the light beautifully and makes an amazing statement piece for a mantel, shelf or sunny windowsill.

Condition: Note: This piece has a chip under the fish mouth (price reflects this),  other than that it is in excellent condition with no cracks or scratches.  The glass is crystal clear and flawless.

It stand at approx 10-12 Inches in height.
