A charming, mid-century Italian Capodimonte bisque porcelain figurine depicting a soulful Cocker Spaniel resting atop a plush, tufted olive green cushion.  Masterfully hand-painted with realistic, highly detailed fur texturing, this collectible piece features an impressive matte finish characteristic of classic Neapolitan studios.

Authenticity: Fully signed by the sculpture Defendi on the front corner of the cushion.   The underside bears the "Crowned N" factory mark.

Era:  Handmade in Italy, circa 1960s-1970s
